The Slogan Tee

July 18, 2017

So clothing is one of the primary things we can use to display who we are, and the slogan tee is a step up so now not only can you use style to depict part of your personality, but actual writing too! There are TONNES of options of slogan tees, and I'm a huuuge fan because they're so easy-going, easy to style and a nice twist to your standard outfit.

I've styled five slogan tees (two of which I copped on sale because I love a sale as much as the next person), and then linked a few others below! I kept the bottoms simple, sticking to plain white jeans and cream flats to keep the look fresh, and the attention on the t-shirts. I've realised that I most probably have a subconscious love for white typography t-shirts, though with so many colourful options out there, why stick to a white top?

'CIAO HONEY'

I love love LOVE the fluffy detailing on this top as it adds to the fun factor of it! The typography is also gorgeous, making this top an all round winner!

Top: Pull and Bear

'POLITE TILL I BITE'

A v-neck slogan t-shirt is what I have been WAITING FOR! This top is everything, and I can't get enough of its sassy slogan- and with it being a plain black and white, it can be paired with absolutely anything.

Top: ZARA

'ROAD TRIPPIN'

I there's any way to bring out your inner traveller and inner kid, THIS is the way to do it! The badges and red lettering make it nostalgic but the typography stops it from looking like you're actually wearing a 10 year-olds top.

Top: ZARA

Earrings: H&M (Not online, but currently instore)

'GIRLS RULE'

This top is probably the t-shirt that speaks out the most and makes a statement- in a good way! The font is cute and fun, and although not the greatest of quality, the embroidered roses are a nice touch. The thing I love the most about this t-shirt though, is that part of the proceeds go to breast cancer research. I'm sure that unfortunately, all of us have some sort of link to cancer, whether that be through family, friends or someone within the community, and so if fashion can combine helping combat cancer, whilst also speaking out against that glass ceiling, I'm all for it.

Top: Topshop

'ECRU'

Per my previous post, you've seen this t-shirt before! I like it's irony in naming the colour of the t-shirt itself, and that it's slightly off-white; a nice change from the otherwise white slogan tees I own!

A FEW FAVES ONLINE:

MANGO 'New York' T-shirt

MANGO Pink T-shirt (because why hit one trend when you can tick two?)

MANGO Sequin T-shirt (for when you're feeling a bit extra)

People Tree 'Bee Kind' T-shirt

BDG Japanese Text T-Shirt (why stick to English)

UO 'Slammin T-shirt' (the bigger the better when it comes to oversized)

Until the next post x
