5 Best Straw Bags to Shop RN

For the third consecutive year running, both the high street and designer stores are FLOODED with straw bags. It's clear that whilst many of us thought the straw bag would be a fad, they are definitely here to stay for the summer months. What's great about this trend, is that it's something that anyone and everyone can jump in on: there are hundreds of styles of straw bag to choose from. In all honesty, it can be quite overwhelming when you've got too much choice. That's where I come in. I've come up with a quick curated guide of some of the hottest straw bags to shop for this summer.

1. Warehouse x SHRIMPS

These daisy diamantes are the perfect way to update your straw bag this season, and all for £30!

Warehouse recently brought out an amazing collaboration with SHRIMPS, and I have to say that my favourite piece is this jewellery sparkly number. It's chic, it's fun and it's something a bit different to your average straw bag.

2. ASOS Bandana Print Bag

The pop of red is a nice way to add colour into a very neutral bag.

Small, compact and very practical thanks to the neat tie up at the top of the bag. At £18, it's also a really affordable option which is never a bad thing, and it's trapezium shape is very on trend so it's a bag that can tick all the boxes.

3. Topshop Straw Staud Bag

We love a bag that has a covered top! Don't worry about belongings thanks to the tie up top.

Remember when Staud brought out those gorgeous roped bucket bags last year? Whilst most in fashion may have moved on, I have not. I love this combination of both the straw and rope trend, and can completely imagine swanning down to a picturesque beach with this filled with some cat-eye sunnies, sunscreen, and beach snacks.

4. Hereu's Straw Take on the Mini Bag Trend

A petite, no fuss number for minimalist queens.

Hit two birds with one stone with this mini-bag take of the straw bag. It's still big enough to fit all your essentials: phone, lipbalm and sunglasses, but makes sure that you can't overpack. The leather handle is a nice way to break up the straw material, and gives the bag a more polished look.

5. Loewe's 'It Girl' Favourite

It's all in the details with this bag: the contrast stitching, the embossing: a beautiful tote.

You'll have probably seen this plastered all over instagram, but there's a reason behind its popularity. It's a great sized bag with beautiful leather details that just simply won't go out of style, even if straw bags were to. The adjustable strap is both practical and modern touch, and the Loewe monogram is very on trend without being too flashy: something that'll be classic in years to come. It's an investment, but if you're really wanting to jump head first into this trend, this is the one.

Which one will you be adding to your summer wardrobe?
